How does Acitretin work:
Acitretin is in a class of medications called retinoids. It reduces the abnormal growth of skin cells that causes red, thickened, or scaly skin.
How should Acitretin be used:
It is usually taken already a day with food. Take it around equal time every day. It manages psoriasis but does not cure it. It may take 2-3 months before you feel the full benefit. Continue to take the drug even if you feel well. Do not stop it out, talking to your doctor.

Do not take methotrexate or tetracycline antibiotics while taking this drug. Tell your doctor about all medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal materials you are taking.

Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. – Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
